Soy profesor de Español e Inglés como segunda idioma en el Colegio Baylor, un colegio particular en la ciudad de Chattanooga, Tennessee, EE.UU.
Este verano, voy a emprender un nuevo camino: voy a viajar a España para participar en un programa para profesores estadounidenses de español en Salamanca, España. Tengo la impresión que esta experiencia sea un momento crucial en mi carrera y vida y quiero apuntar mis impresiones de la experiencia aquí para compartirla con amigos, familiares, estudiantes y colegas. Me gustaría ofrecer un agradecimiento muy sincero a la Universidad de Salamanca, la Embajada de España, y el colegio Baylor por hacer posible este viaje. Espero que los lectores encuentren información aquí que sea agradable y valiosa.
A little about why I have chosen to write a blog. I am a teacher of Spanish and English as second languages at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. This summer, I will embark on a new path: I will travel to Spain to take part in a program for American teachers of Spanish in Salamanca, Spain. I expect that this experience will be a pivotal moment in my career and life and I hope to record my impressions of the experience here to share with friends, family, students, and colleagues. I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the University of Salamanca, the Embassy of Spain, and to Baylor School for making this trip possible. I hope that readers find the information here enjoyable and valuable.
