Un caligrama escolar:
Primavera
Inspired by the visual art movement of Cubism including Picasso and other artists of his generation, the Caligrama was a technique of the Spanish avant-garde movement in which the poem takes the shape of the object that is described in the poem. Here I present an original poem I wrote in the form of an ice bridge. In the poem, we have three characters: the bridge, the crystals that form the bridge, and the traveler. You will see below what happens in the story.
Springtime
In perfect equilibrium,
about the whole. In the center,
Which do not know, nor care, The crystals clutch,
of individual connections, oblivious to the traveler.
With knowledge only The arc is lean
a billion interlocking unions in the center
An arc bound with , The wind is swift
a congregation of crystals in the center
An ice bridge is . The crystals release
In the center
